The restaurant is in Marseillan, situated on the edge of the Etang de Thau with uninterrupted and panoramic views of the lagune and the Mont Saint Clair behind Sete. Set on an oyster farm, you can simultaneously witness the comings and goings of the shellfish barges below whilst savouring the delights of their labour. The seafood buffet is abundant in freshly farmed oysters, muscles, prawns, crab and whelks, whilst the hot dishes on offer include variously prepared seabass, bream, john dory, cod, salmon and tuna and of course mouth-watering oyster or moules gratinées.
On a broader note, the sailing location is the northern tip of the Golfe du Lion – you can comfortably do a day sailing trip from the grand fishing port of Sete to Port Camargue (the largest leisure boat marina in the Med) on the opposite side of the Golfe d’Aigues Mortes.
So whether your thing is seafood, sailing or sipping a glass of Picpoul de Pinet in the sunset – take a tip from us and come on down!
